PCS annual elections – interested in being a union rep?

get_involved_landing_page_graphic_477x210PCS members get the chance to elect their representatives every year. Bootle Taxes Branch are now calling on members who wish to take up or continue in representative roles to put your names forward.

We have a lot of experienced reps who take on personal cases, negotiate with management and address health and safety issues on a regular basis. But we are always looking for new reps as others move on to different areas or as the number of members who need representing increases. We have several new business areas in the branch which currently don’t have any reps.

If your area is currently unrepresented, or if you’re otherwise interested in being more involved in the union, why not put yourself forward? All of the roles come with training provided by the Trades Union Congress and nobody will be expected to take on any more than they are comfortable with.

If you are interested in any of the posts below, please submit your nomination, your business area and an election statement to both Phil Millar and John Virtue by 12pm on Friday 12th January.
